Liv and Dean West have always fallen together, but this time they might fall apart...

Liv and Dean have everything…almost. With a rambunctious toddler, crazy work schedules, and too many responsibilities, they’ve lost sight of their passionate, intimate marriage. And Professor West is none too happy about that.

Determined to lure his wife into hot new adventures, Dean struggles with his need to have Liv all to himself and the reality of sharing her with the world.

Then he gets an opportunity that could change their lives…and Liv is faced with the prospect of her white knight going places where she can’t follow.

I fell in love with Dean and Liv in the previous three books of this series. The hunky Professor and his Beauty are gorgeously written. They are not without fault, but their love and passion for one another is simply captivating. So discovering we would be getting more to their story was very exciting. And this book was not a disappointment. If you've not read the previous books, I feel like you could jump in here, or backtrack and see all their history. Either way, be prepared to fall in love.

Reading 'Adore,' I found many parts that transported me back to when I had my first child (or even the other kids after that). Adding children to a marriage truly changes things. Of course you still love your spouse (I hope!), but the timing, the scheduling, the planning, all of it must evolve. I think Nina Lane captured new parenting and marriage adjustment really well here. But with more poetry of language and less weird humor than my marriage ;)

Of course, new parenting issues usually include disruptions in your sex life, and Dean and Liv are no different. But have no fear. There is still lots of sex, including sexy flashbacks, in this story. Liv and Dean may be trying to get their groove back, but this book has it's sexy groove going on. Professor West is a sexy beast! And the depth of love and passion and commitment Dean and Liv have for each other was tender and beautiful.

Parenthood is just one of the many plates Dean and Liv juggle. Between their jobs, their community, their opportunities, their home, and their son, they've had a lot going on, a lot to distract or detract. While their circumstances may be unique, their situations - all those insecurities, feelings, worries, decisions - are very relatable. Now Liv did get on my nerves at a certain point. She was just so stubborn! But this journey they took was so important, and so worth it in the end. I loved where their journey finally took them.

As a bonus, I loved seeing Archer and Kelsey. I always want more of them. Their little moments were great additions to the story. And we have another Liv and Dean book to look forward to! Very exciting!!
