Sunday Post: Weekly Wrap-Up (4.26)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It's a chance to share news, recap the past week on your blog, showcase books, share upcoming news, etc. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

Fun Times:
This week was busy, so it took me some time to recover from the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books that I attended last weekend with my oldest son. We had a great time and saw many amazing authors as usual. And I got way too many new book reading ideas. If you are ever in Southern California in April, this is a fantastic weekend for any book lover. I had a lot of books I already owned signed, but grabbed a few new ones to add to my happy shelves.
Highlight for oldest son: Meeting Jeff Kinney, author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.
My stack of books I got signed over the weekend (plus one more that's a secret for a friend).

What I Read Last Week:

Love Bites by C.C. Wood (loved)
The Consequence of Loving Colton by Rachel Van Dyken (loved)
Seduced by Sunday by Catherine Bybee (loved)

My Posted Reviews Last Week:

ASA by Jay Crownover (my 5 star review)
Love Bites by C.C. Wood (my 5 star review)
Hard To Hold On To by Laura Kaye (my 4.5 star review)
Hard To Come By by Laura Kaye (my 4.5 star review)

What I'm Reading Next:

Stolen Art by Ruth Silver

  3. Oh wow! The festival sounds like it was great. I would actually like to get to one this year. This reading and reviewing can be a solitary business so meeting like-minded people or those with a similar passion can be really rejuvenating!

  7. I'm always watching our locla book stores and library for which authors are coming. Then I grab my books and away I go to get them signed. Usually come home with an impressive haul too, like yours:) Looks like you had such fun.
