Top Ten Tuesday (8): Resolve to Read in 2013

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
These are some of the many books on my shelf that I have been wanting to read, but they have instead been neglected and collecting dust. And I have met several of these authors and have their books signed, so I feel particularly determined to read and support them. These books are listed in no particular order.

Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read In 2013

1. An Abundance of Katherines by John Green
This will be my third John Green book.

2. Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood
I've heard great things about this one.

3. Where Things Come Back by John Corey Whaley
This looks like a unique book and I've heard good things.

4. Throne of Glass by Sarah Maas
Another book I've heard great things about.

5. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
It's embarrassing, but I've never read this classic or seen the movie.

An Abundance of Katherines   Born Wicked (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, #1)   Where Things Come Back

Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1)   To Kill a Mockingbird

6. Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers
Another book I've heard great things about.

7. Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen
I've never read a Sarah Dessen book, so I'm determined to read one this year.

8. The Disenchantments by Nina LaCour
I love road trip books, so I'm looking forward to this one.

 9. The Host by Stephenie Meyer
I want to read this book before the movie comes out.

10. If I Stay/Where She Went by Gayle Forman
I've been fearful of these heavier books, but I plan to conquer my reservations.

Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1)   Along for the Ride   The Disenchantments

The Host (The Host, #1)   If I Stay

The rest are on my TBR pile as well, but they all sound fantastic.
