From New York Times bestseller Katy Regnery comes another timeless tale of love everlasting!

Loosely inspired by the legend of Camelot, Dark Sexy Knight tells the story of dinner theater knight Colt Lane, who meets down-on-her-luck Verity Gwynn on the worst day of her life. Evicted from their home, Verity and her special-needs brother, Ryan, must find jobs or risk being separated. Colt, who is the furthest-possible thing from a white knight in real life, comes to their unlikely rescue, quickly cementing his place in Verity's heart.

Colt has dark, deeply buried secrets that keep his smile hidden and his eyes down, which has kept people away . . . until he meets Verity, who seems immune to his gruff manners and taciturn ways. The more time Colt spends with her, the more he longs for her sweetness in his life and yearns to be the knight in shining armor she so desperately needs. Certain he will lose her if she learns the truth about his past, he must decide if he can trust her with his yesterday in order to build a beautiful tomorrow.

**Contemporary Romance. Due to profanity, mild violence and very strong sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.**

If you're looking for a sweet romance, a modern day fairytale even, then look no further. Colt and Verity's story was absolutely precious.

Verity, our down-and-out maiden, is in need of saving, and who better to sweep in than Colton, the dark knight. But this isn't just some rehashing of ladies in distress and men saving the day. In fact, Colt and Verity have a bit of mutual rescuing to be done. They've been lost, alone, misunderstood, and in each other they find that kindred spirit, that soulmate, that they can't let go of.

Journeying with them may have been a bit predictable since it's a romance, but what made this more than just a sweet and sexy romance, was the addition of Verity's brother and Colton's cousin. This stepped the story up to a special level. The tender and sensitive way we walk in the shoes of those near and dear to special needs folks amped up the quality of this story.

I loved Colt and Verity together, the sweetness of their meet-up, the struggle to overcome their personal issues or the angst other's try to force on them, the chemistry of their attraction to each other, and the strength of their love. When it's meant to be, no obstacle is going to stop something like their love. Then add in the extra sweetness of Ryan and Melody, and this story brought all the feels.
