He may own a candy company, but this wealthy bachelor is no Willy Wonka.

Sugar Rush Candy Company CEO Luke Stone is a devoted businessman who doesn't do relationships. He does short-term affairs with clearly defined rules. But when a sexy bohemian angel propositions him in a bar, Luke is tempted to want more.

Polly Lockhart is horrified when she wakes the morning after her twenty-third birthday to realize she made a fool of herself with a sinfully delicious man. She tells herself she doesn't have time for romance anyway, as she's fighting to keep her mother's beloved bakery afloat and finish her culinary studies. That all changes when her class tours the famed Sugar Rush headquarters, and Polly collides with her dream man again.

As she succumbs to their hot attraction, Polly soon realizes her bakery isn't the only thing that needs saving. Luke, driven and unyielding, will burn out unless someone convinces him to taste the sweetness of life. But can Polly remember this sugar rush is only temporary?

I fell in love with Nina Lane's writing with her Spiral of Bliss series. With the start of this new series, I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, 'Sweet Dreams' was such a genuine treat! It's just what the name says - sweet. I truly enjoyed reading this special love story with Polly and Luke, and am excited to have another series to look forward to.

Polly and Luke on the surface don't appear to be a likely match. Polly is a young gal with spunk, still figuring out her life. Luke is a sexy CEO who (thinks he) has it all figure out. Attraction aside - which is apparent when they first meet - it's difficult to initially see where any relationship between them could go. And that's what I loved about them. Because the more time they spend together, the more we get to know them, the more I fell in love with them and knew they were perfect for each other. They are a fantastic couple! I loved their "dates." I loved the way they took care of each other. I loved their hearts for their families. I absolutely loved Polly's personality. Polly and Luke blended so well together. I loved their story, their chemistry, and their fight.

'Sweet Dreams' is a real treat and I flew through the pages. If you like fun characters with a lot of heart, a great combination of sexy times and fun times, and a sweet love story, then 'Sweet Dreams' is for you.
