Book Blurb:
Molly West had everything, beauty, brains, and a career in the limelight.

In a sport that was male driven, she was often surrounded by men. She ignored first the boys, and as she got older, the men.

That is until she walked into the pits.

From the moment he saw her, he Carter had an overwhelming need to protect her.

He learned a long time ago that gut feelings are almost never wrong.
My Review:

So I really enjoyed this story. A lot. This type of story - insta-love and a speedy romance - isn't for everyone. But it worked just fine for me. If you don't enjoy a story with love at first sight, then this might not be for you. But if you like a sweet romance, a dedicated man, a woman who has overcome the odds, and a loving group of family and friends, then this may just be your next read.

This story centers around a motorcycle race track and a great group of new and old friends, with Molly West, the gal with a heart-breaking past and protective family, and Carter Sterling, the golden boy looking for the love of his life. My brother races motorcycles, so I enjoyed that aspect of the story and the dedication to the sport. The real strength of the story for me, however, was the characters. These are a group of people I could totally picture hanging out in the pits and loved getting to know them and seeing their camaraderie. And knowing this is the first book of the series, I'm really looking forward to getting to know all these guys more and more.

Let's be honest - Carter and Molly's romance is fast. But I honestly enjoyed it for the most part. With a guy like Carter, you can't help but want him to find the love of his life right now. And with a girl like Molly, you would be a fool not to want her to be with a guy like Carter. This was one of the great things about this book - I genuinely liked these people and was rooting for this couple. Though their love was strong, they were faced with some dangerous and perplexing circumstances that could have either made them or broken them. But seeing Carter's love and dedication, and Molly's strength and vulnerability, was just so stinkin' sweet. The entire story was really well told, balancing romance and suspense, and from start to finish I had to know what would happen with Molly and Carter.

This is a terrific, romantic book, with a charming group of characters I wanted to know, a captivating story that kept me flipping the pages, and a beautiful ending I loved. I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.

**Update: I have since finished reading this entire series. I flew through the books and can honestly say I loved them. This is a great series with strong characters and beautiful romances that really stay with you. I love a series that creates a "community" and "family" feel, whether with or without the bonds of blood, where we get to see characters from each book progress in subsequent books. The Racing To Love series created just that. These character bonds are strong, real, touching, and wonderful. Amy Gregory did a fantastic job with this series. It's definitely one I look forward to re-reading.

Book Blurb:
Erin was truly the girl next door. Sweet, fun, and easy-going. The epitome of the old cliché, but added to it…her kiss-me brown eyes. Growing up, they were only separated by a stream and a few hundred acres. Brody finally noticed her when they were both fourteen. He fell in love a handful of years later. Completely in love, they’d been together since.

He knew her inside and out, knew her heart, knew her body. Or so he thought.

What he initiated as a playful lover’s game earlier in the morning had flipped a one-eighty. What he hadn’t expected was that his kind and gentle Erin would up the ante.

Suddenly, Brody finds himself playing with fire.
My Review:

I loved getting this extra special glimpse at Brody and Erin's relationship. This is a very short novella and not necessary for the series. But if you are at all curious about Brody and Erin's relationship, their past, and where they were at in the beginning of Carter's Love, then you will enjoy this one. Brody and Erin are very sweet and I loved seeing more to Brody than the over-protective brother he was to Molly in Carter's Treasure. He definitely has a sweet and tender side that I loved. But Brody and Erin has a sexy side that we get to see as well. This was a very sweet addition to the Racing To Love series.
